Exchange, the annual conference hosted by the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.), held from November 17th to November 20th in beautiful Miami Beach. It was our first time exhibiting at this premier event for credentialing professionals, and it was an great opportunity to engage with colleagues, showcase our solutions, and gain valuable insights.

Insights Gained From Our First I.C.E. Exchange
Our trip wasn't all about showcasing our platform, though. We were eager to learn from credentialing professionals where the challenges to their online program goals were and what they want to see in the future of online.exam delivery. We were glad of the opportunity to hear directly from so many dedicated certification professionals first-hand because it's this kind of candid sharing that informs our continual effort to develop meaningful solutions.
A Challenge Facing Credentialing Organizations with Online Exams
One of the most notable insights we gained at the conference was the prevalence of frustration with vendor-locked testing solutions when it comes to online exams. These platforms often impose limitations, restricting LRP and other online testing services options to those provided by the test delivery vendor. This highlighted for us the importance of flexibility and integration, which are core aspects of Proctor360's platform. We're proud of the partnerships we're building with other independent vendors serving the online testing needs of credentialing org's. Together we're fostering an open marketplace where innovation, flexibility, and efficiency reward the buyer with greater choice and control.
Our test engine-agnostic approach drew significant interest as a viable alternative to traditional vendor-locked models. Several attendees appreciated our focus on delivering independent, customizable solutions that empower organizations to choose the tools and strategies that work best for their unique needs. This was an encouraging sign, as was the open and candid discussions we had with other remote proctoring providers we met during the conference.
Getting Clarity on NCCA Approval for LRP
A recurring question we received was whether Proctor360 is an "NCCA-approved LRP vendor". This revealed a misunderstanding by some about the relationship of the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) to remote proctoring that highlighted a need for clarification. While the NCCA does not accredit or approve live remote proctoring (LRP) vendors, it does provide guidance for credentialing organizations to maintain compliance when using LRP solutions. Proctor360's collaborative and customizable approach enables us to work with our customers in maintaining compliance requirements and providing supporting documentation of the practices we implement for them. This flexibility and commitment to exam integrity is one of our core values.
