Kranthi Bathula is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Proctor360, a remote proctoring company he co-founded in 2018 to help educational institutions, certification bodies, and employers deliver secure, high-integrity online exams. He leads the company's product and AI platform, including its multi-camera "360 Total View" hardware and AI-enabled monitoring technology that upholds exam integrity in remote testing environments.
A biomedical engineer by training, Kranthi holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Engineering. Before Proctor360, he worked as a researcher at the Cellular Biomechanics Research Lab and as a design engineer building precision delivery mechanisms, experience that shaped his hands-on, engineering-first approach to both hardware and software, including his use of 3D printing to rapidly prototype and refine Proctor360's proctoring devices.
Kranthi is a frequent voice in the assessment and EdTech community, speaking on webinars and podcasts and writing on test security, the responsible use of AI in remote testing, and the best practices institutions can follow to balance exam integrity with accessibility and a positive student experience.
